Take a tip from Clooney and embrace your salt and pepper hair. A recent study in the American Journal of Epidemiology found that men who colour their hair have a 50-70% increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer in men. Para-phenylenediamine (PPD), a known carcinogen currently used in hair dyes, is the prime suspect.
