Slap On A Second Coat
No guy likes to repeat himself, but applying two layers of sunscreen may be the best way to avoid a burn. In a study from Japan, people who applied sunscreen used about 60% of the amount needed to achieve the promised SPF. When they added a second coat, they hit 100%. That extra layer will thicken your UV barrier and hit spots you missed before, says study author Takashi Teramura PhD. Try a non-greasy formula, like Kiehl’s SPF50 Fast-Absorbing Sunscreen.
