Men’s Health July: Keep On Improving
Without meaning to sound arrogant, I’m proud to say that our #MHCoverGuy Reveal Party in late May was a great success. It clearly proved that everything is achievable when you have a hardworking, determined and dedicated team right behind you. Thanks must also be given to our friends: Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Burton Menswear London, Celebrity Fitness Malaysia, Clique Clinic, Sothys Malaysia and Storm London Malaysia, as well as The Roof, Panasonic Malaysia and Pandora.
As a follow-up to our Guide to Style, in this issue, Men’s Health challenges you to put your grooming routine under the microscope. Perhaps an overhaul is needed, you know. Frankly, I started taking care of my skin almost immediately when puberty hit—and it has come a long way from the days I would wash my face with a withered bar of soap and plug up shaving cuts with bits of toilet paper. Look more polished, and keep your skin and hair healthier with the tips and tricks which we have highlighted on p88.
On top of that, we travelled all the way to Tanjong Jara Resort, Kuala Terengganu, to bring you an amazing beach-themed fashion spread on p94. Laden with lots of practical style ideas, we did it so that you’d have more than just a ripped body to show off during your next seaside vacation.
And while we enter the Islamic period of religious observance known as Ramadan—the month of fasting—we take a look at… well, food. Or more precisely, the rules to keep nutrition in check while practising your fast. How do you attain that balanced food
and fluid intake? What are the things that you should and shouldn’t consume? Turn to p62 to find out. Last but not least, we hope you have been enjoying our new and improved layout designed to not just give a breath of fresh air, but more importantly, to enhance the flow of the publication.
