Men’s Health June: Bring it on

What’s up, you ask?

To say it has been a hectic month would be an understatement. But as the saying goes, there is nothing like a challenge to bring out the best in a man. Aside from continuing to load the pages of the magazine with heaps of thought-provoking information and stories, the MH team has also put together a comprehensive Guide To Style (flip over) which showcases how you too can look smart and suave—yes, every single day. From choosing the right fashion pieces to putting together the perfect outfit to fine-tuning your grooming regime, we’ve got you covered.

Not only that, our #MHCoverGuy contest has finally come to a close. Truth be told that the process of shortlisting hundreds upon hundreds of entries was no easy feat, let alone having to decide on one out of five unquestionably strong candidates to front the cover. We applaud winner Arif Johari and the rest of the finalists for their inspirational ardour toward health and wellbeing. Turn to p92 to read about their take on physical and mental fitness. Also, check out the stylish side of the guys on p14 in the style guide.

Another project that has been keeping us occupied is the refining and defining of the magazine layout. Our art director explains that it’s more like “giving it a facelift”. However the description, with reader-friendliness being the very essence, the objective from the onset is not for it to be anything drastic but more so subtly refreshing and streamlined. And after months of brainstorming, tweaking and adjusting, it is ready for unveiling. So there you have it, in your hands, the latest issue of Men’s Health Malaysia jam-packed with all things old and new—and 100% useful, no less.
