Beer Reduces Diabetes Risk

Beer

A quick beer has been found to strengthen everything from your mind to your bones. (Just as too heavy a session can splinter both.) But scientists have found that drinking a pint a day can help reduce your risk of developing type-2 diabetes, too. Scientists found the vitamins, folic acid, iron and protein in a refreshing pint deliver the same benefits as moderate wine drinking. Of the 1,249 people studied, those who drank beer regularly had lower body fat and showed fewer cases of diabetes. As if you needed any encouragement.
