You’re not just burying your abs when you eat junk food. An unhealthy diet may cost more than a healthy one, according to USDA economics researchers. They studied about 4,400 foods through three cost-analysis measures (price per calorie, price per edible gramme, and price per portion), and discovered that healthy foods are cheaper than unhealthy ones and contain more nutrients for your buck.
