The Dread of SSRI

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) was found by researchers to have a negative impact on all components of the male sexual cycle; desire, arousal, excitement and orgasm. Use of SSRIs was also associated with a seven-fold higher risk of delayed ejaculation. Other classes of antidepressants and benzodiazepines were not associated with sexual dysfunction in this population of men according to this study
in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
